My Thoughts on the Royal Wedding

I don't mean to be rude or offend anyone - I just lack tact and diplomacy and publish a lot (over 15,000 web pages), so I tend to bring out the best and worst of folks by asking questions. My sincere apology.

I live in San Francisco - spent a lot of my time working with kids to end gang warfare - get em back in school - and worked in the software industry after a career working with lawyers - so I tend to ask questions that are long winded (sorry again) and rip at people a bit - I like to see the true colors - the real heart and soul of folks I meet - and give you mine as well.

Recently I joined a "Yankee Pirate Band" doing "Irish Music" - a lot of it by the Pogues - never really listened to them until my pal insisted I (a classical pianist) be the accordion player - and as I read the lyrics and study more about Ireland - lovely place - and the history - bloody long fight for Independence, integration and peace - I realize how many centuries the "Old Irish" are AHEAD of the Yanks.

You have known for a millenium how foul it is to have the Brits - or anyone - on your soil, whereas Yanks are only now learning that the Brits turned America into just another Commonwealth Corporation with the Paris Treaty after the Revolutionary war (some Yanks understand this - most don't). We may not have the Queen on our money, but we do have an OMB tax form at the Federal Level and pay her every year. Lovely, eh? Now we finally know who Obama and Bush work for...ain't us.

So when the Royal Family gets married, do you folks:

a) congratulate them and wish them the best - like real people, hopefully in love, who will have a blessed wonderful time together and bring peace and prosperity to all they grace with their laughter, presence and enlightenment, or

b) hope that - as some royal folks have done in the past - one or the other doesn't contract some fatal disease whilst cheating on the other, or

c) hope they do

d) have those funny toilet paper rolls with faces on them - and now have to order a new set. I was thinking they might be hot sellers here once Yanks figure out the reality of the situation

e) educate your children about what the British Empire has done to much of the world today, and

f) to provide some balance, thank the folks who brought us Reuters news, Associated Press, wretchedly bad TV, and 2000 years of global war...I mean after all, you probably wouldn't have electricity or oil if those smart folks weren't selling it to you...(I do love the old phone background here - sweet).

g) listen to the elders gripe about the situation, whist the young barely have time to learn the history of last Saturday night, let alone how Ireland was repeatedly raped...ooops...there I go opening up...sorry if I was too honest.

I just wondered ... since you are so damn far ahead of the Yanks - if you could give any advice on how they should deal with the knowledge as the reality of the rather ugly situation of global finance, global war, famine ad foreclosures becomes more widely known.

I will always love old Thomas Jefferson's quote - were we to allow the bankers to rule, first by inflation, then deflation, our children will wake up homeless in the fields of the nation our fathers conquered ... as is happening today.

Any kind words of advice on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. - we're recording to replace the songs on the site now - give us time - we just got this rolling...thank you for your patience.

It's quite hard to find a good site. And I think I am lucky enough to have come here. The posts are doing great and full of good insights. I would be glad to keep on coming back here to check for a new update.
